The members of our lodge are men and women from many different walks of lives and range in age from 18 and up. We attempt to host events that are meant to be family-friendly as we understand that every member has more to his/her life than the lodge.

To become a member:

We ask that you meet with us for at least three meetings. Come to 605 S. Hugh Street in Plano, IL at 6:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. We share dinner and friendship from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This is the time we will get to know more about you and you will get to know our members. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have about what we do and who we are. If you decide that you would like to join we ask that you complete an application that you will receive from us. We will present the application during our meetings three times and then vote to accept or decline your application.

Once you have been voted upon and accepted, you will go through our first four degrees. These teach you about the foundation of Odd Fellowship.

The first four degrees are:

• The Initiatory Degree

• 1st Degree or Degree of Friendship

• 2nd Degree or Degree of Love

• 3rd Degree or Degree of Truth

These will take place at our lodge or any other lodge in the state of Illinois that may be hosting a degree day.

It was by an act of Congress when former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, an Odd Fellow, requested a law be set in place so that the Odd Fellows would be able to hold this historic event.
