The members of our lodge are men and women from many different walks of lives and range in age from 18 and up. We attempt to host events that are meant to be family-friendly as we understand that every member has more to his/her life than the lodge.

To become a member:

We ask that you meet with us for at least three meetings. Come to 605 S. Hugh Street in Plano, IL at 6:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. We share dinner and friendship from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. This is the time we will get to know more about you and you will get to know our members. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have about what we do and who we are. If you decide that you would like to join we ask that you complete an application that you will receive from us. We will present the application during our meetings three times and then vote to accept or decline your application.

Legend Lodge 212 is proud to be the sponsoring lodge of the first United Youth Group in the state of Illinois. Generosity United Youth Group 1 was chartered in May 2016. We started the youth group as a way to bring families together in Odd Fellowship. They are a group of children male and female ages 8-18. They vote their own members into office, hold their own meetings, host their own events and maintain their own checking account as their own lodge. They use Roberts Rule of Order to guide their meetings. The youth group teaches the children leadership abilities, responsibility and ownership. The Senior Advisers of Legend Lodge 212 are there for support and to answer questions that the children have.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. We share dinner and friendship from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at our Lodge • 605 S. Hugh Street in Plano, IL.

Annual Pilgrimage to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Did you know that the Odd Fellows is the only fraternal group allowed to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery? It was by an act of Congress when former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, an Odd Fellow, requested a law be set in place so that the Odd Fellows would be able to hold this historic event.
